关于2017年度厦门大学各类来华留学生奖学金资格年度评审预告和中国政府奖学金学生申请奖学金延期的通知
按照国家留学基金委2017年的工作要求和我校的实际工作安排，我校2017年各类来华留学生奖学金资格年度评审将于4月份进行，现预通知如下：
一、奖学金资格年度评审项目：
1. 中国政府奖学金；
2. 福建省政府奖学金;
3. 厦门大学国际学生新生奖学金。
另：孔子学院奖学金资格年度评审的通知海外教育学院将另行发布。
二、年度评审对象：
1. 2017年9月之后需继续享受各类奖学金的学生；
2. 原计划2017年7月毕业但未能按期完成学业，申请奖学金延期的中国政府奖学金生。
三、注意事项：
1. 年审会议预计于4月初举行，具体的年审名单和会议时间将再另行发布，请同学们做好参加年审的准备；
2. 无故（包括失联）不参加年审的奖学金生将被直接取消奖学金资格。
3. 请扫描以下二维码关注厦大OSAO公众号（微信号：XMUOSAO），相关通知将会在公众号上通知。
四、奖学金延期
对于无法按期完成学业的毕业班奖学金生，只有中国政府奖学金学生可以申请延长奖学金期限，其他类别奖学金生在延期毕业阶段将自动转为自费学生。中国政府奖学金毕业生申请奖学金延期具体要求如下：
1. 中国政府奖学金-国别奖学金项目学生和商务部项目学生：
享受以上两个项目奖学金的学生需要申请奖学金延期的学生请于3月底前向本国派遣部门（原申请受理单位）提出申请，请其列入2017/2018学年中方向该国提供的中国政府奖学金计划名额内，无需通过我校提出申请但需按要求参加2017年度年审。在申请过程中，如需学校出具延期毕业证明的，请按照本国派遣部门的要求自行拟好并打印延期毕业证明后前往研究生院（思明校区嘉庚三3楼）盖章。
如本国派遣部门（原申请受理单位）无法列入2017/2018学年中国政府奖学金计划名额的，博士生可通过学校向基金委申请延期，但必须出具使馆同意函、提交奖学金延期申请表并按要求参加2017年度评审。
2. 中国政府奖学金-高校研究生项目、中国政府-中美人文交流专项奖学金、中国政府海洋奖学金项目学生：
在享受以上三个项目奖学金的学生中，只有需要申请奖学金延期并且学习态度认真、表现良好的博士生可通过学校向基金委提出延期申请，目前基金委不接受此项目中其他类别的（本硕和非学历项目）学生申请延期。有意向申请奖学金延期的博士生应按照学校要求按时参加并完成2017年奖学金资格年度评审并提交奖学金延期申请表。
注：1. 所有申请奖学金延期的学生都应首先申请学籍延期，具体流程可咨询学院教学秘书。
2. 所有申请奖学金延期的应届毕业生都需要参加年审。
2. 奖学金延期申请表格将在年审会议中发放。

Notice about 2017 Xiamen University International Students Scholarship Annual Review and Scholarship Extension for Chinese Government Scholarship Students
According to the 2017 annual review requirements of the CSC and the work arrangements of Xiamen University, 2017 Xiamen University international students scholarship annual review will take place in April. Below is the pre-notice:
I. Annual Review Scholarship Programs:
1. Chinese Government Scholarship
2. Fujian Government Scholarship
3. Xiamen University International Students Scholarship
*The Overseas Education College will issue notices of the annual review of Confucius Institute Scholarship later.
II. Annual Review Participants:
1. Current scholarship students who need to continue enjoying scholarship programs after Sept, 2017;
2. 2017 graduating Chinese Government Scholarship students who cannot finish their study as scheduled and intend to apply for Chinese Government Scholarship Extension.
III. Notes:
1. The annual review meeting is scheduled in early April. The detailed name list of annual review participants and meeting information will be released later. Please prepare yourself for the annual review.
2. Student who do not attend review without persuasive reasons (including loss of contact) will be deprived of scholarship permanently.
3. Please scan the QR code and follow OSAO on wechat (wechat public account: xmuosao) to obtain relevant information timely.
IV. Scholarship Extension
For graduating scholarship students who cannot finish study as scheduled, only Chinese Government Scholarship students can apply for scholarship extension. Students on Confucius Institute Scholarship, Fujian Government Scholarship and Xiamen University International Students Scholarship programs will automatically turn into self-supporting students during study extension period.
Below are the scholarship extension tips for Chinese Government Scholarship students:
1. For CSC scholarship-bilateral programs and MOFCOM programs:
Students enjoying the two programs above should submit the extension application to the dispatching authorities (handling agent) in his home country before the end of March and apply to be included in the 2017/2018AY Chinese Government Scholarship quota provided by the CSC. They don’t need to apply through OSAO but they are required to attend the 2017 scholarship review on time. Should you need the proof of study extension for the scholarship extension application, please write and print the proof sample yourself according to the requirements of your dispatching authorities (handling agents) and bring it to the Graduate School (3rd Floor, Jiageng 3, Siming Campus) for stamp.
Graduating doctoral candidates who cannot be included in the 2017/2018AY scholarship quota can apply to the CSC for scholarship extension through OSAO. They need to submit the consent letter from the embassy and attend the 2017 review and submit the scholarship extension form as required.
2. For CSC scholarship-university postgraduate program, Sino-American cultural exchange program, marine scholarship program：
For students enjoying the three programs above, only 2017 graduating doctoral candidates with good study attitude and excellent performance can apply for scholarship extension through OSAO. Currently the CSC does not accept extension application from other categories of students on these three scholarship programs (including Bachelor’s, Master’s and other non-degree programs). Graduating doctoral candidates who intend to apply for scholarship extension should attend the 2017 review on time and submit the scholarship extension form as required.
Notes:
1. Students applying for scholarship extension should first apply for study extension at Xiamen University. Please consult the teaching secretaries for detailed procedures for study extension.
2. Students applying for scholarship extension should attend the 2017 review as required.
3. Scholarship extension form will be released in the annual review meeting.
